"CrossRoads at Dark Lion Pass" is a strategy adventure game that immerses the player into the grand excitment of being an adventurer through wild lands while working within the party dynamics that would be involved in a group of adventurers that have to share the glory and treasure of an adventure.
In a distant land glory seeking adventurers agree to work together to cross the Dark Lion Pass and gather the treasures and glory that come from accomplishing such a grand feet. The agreement seems to be a loose alliance as each adventurer attempts to steal all the glory and hoard the best of the treasure.

Helix Formation! In a distant galaxy there was a powerful alliance of five races forged to defend their home worlds from alien invasion. They called their alliance the Helix after the energy source that fueled their civilizations and their defense against the hated aliens. After a prolonged war the Helix was finally victorious… however, the supply of Helix Shards had been nearly depleted. Scarcity of energy set the five races upon each other in a bloody war.
When intelligence was discovered that the aliens had created the HELIX FORMATION, A technology that could leverage the remaining Helix Shards to power a single civilization for eons, there was hope… but only for the victorious race. The war intensified and culminated to the battle for the HELIX FORMATION!
The five races will have to travel to distant destinations to gather the intelligence needed to build the HELIX FORMATION. They have also sent their best pilots to collect the remaining shards. Equipped with surprises and alien technology found during the wars they will stop at nothing to ensure their races survival.
Hex tiles arrange to make a unique board every time. Each hex has an effect on the ship and play.
Combine the dynamic board with 120 cards that change the behavior of the board and ships and you have permutation beyond count.
Strategy... Without it you will not win in this game.
Create hex patterns that restrict movement to place more importance on the bidding process and have fewer global battles. Mines are also more powerfull in these restricted movement scenarios.
Create a round cluster with no gaps to create a free-for-all combat between all players.
We have played with 9-players in a single game. The game worked great. No flaws just a longer time to complete and it was great fun.
